The Marine Ecology Laboratory is run by Professor
A. Eleftheriou, who has been Professor in the Department of Biology, University
of Crete since 1985.

B.Sc., Zoology, University of Aberdeen.
Ph.D., Marine Biology, University of Aberdeen.

1964 - 1985 Principal Scientific Officer, Marine Laboratory, Aberdeen,
Scotland. 1985 to date Professor of Marine Biology at the University of
Crete, Greece.
1987 to 1998 Director of the Institute of Marine Biology of Crete, Greece
(IMBC).
