Professor E. Eleftheriou Mr Nikolaos Lampadariou Degrees: Mr. Nikolaos Lampadariou is a meiofaunal specialist and a senior graduate student at the Univ. of Crete. He is currently a research associate of the Oceanography Department of IMBC and responsible for the analysis of the meiobenthic samples. He has been working in the Eastern Mediterranean for the past 8 years and has previously been involved in a number of national and EU projects (MATER). He is expected to receive his Ph.d. from the University of Crete in the year 2000 and has an invested interest in the study of the functioning of the benthic ecosystem of the Mediterranean Sea.
