MARINE ECOLOGY :
Credits 2: ECTS 3 2 hours per week

The course covers the following elements:

  • General characteristics of the marine environment
  • The communities of the soft sediments and hard substrate
  • Dynamics of benthic communities
  • Diversity and stability of benthic communities
  • Pelagic and benthic systems of the deep sea marine food webs
  • Secondary production
  • Energy flow
  • Effects of pollution of marine ecosystems

ZOOLOGY II :
Credits 4: ECTS 7 3 hours per week

The course covers the following elements:

  • Zoology of invertebrates (protozoa, posifera, cnidaria, flatworms, aschelminths, annelids, mollucs, echinoderms, arthropods, segnemted worms)
  • Zoology of vertebrates
